Studying and speaking a foreign language is an incredible skill to have in our rapidly changing world.
In addition to developing an international perspective, language studies at The Kipling School will help your child increase listening ability, memory, creativity and critical thinking – all of which support learning across all content areas.The first goal of our program is to create an environment that makes learning a language both fun and exciting. Students learn vocabulary, words and phrases, practice the language with their classmates and teachers and create projects and presentations to speak the language with increasing confidence. Our students are exposed to both Spanish and French in the elementary grades, and as they enter middle school they can choose to study one of the languages more deeply. Foreign language is an interactive, engaging and creative way to prepare our nation’s children to become the next generation of future entrepreneurs, doctors, scientists, engineers, or whatever career path they choose.
